Consultations
MFC invited members of the public with mobility and cognitive impairments to our premises. The following observations were made during their tour;
- Small ramps for main entrance and airside door would allow easier access.
- Lip on the concrete floor in front of washrooms, small ramp or patching would alloweasier access.
- Lockers near washrooms do not allow washroom door to fully open; moving them 30-50cms would change this.
- Small area rugs near/in waiting rooms may slip under wheelchair wheels.
- Handicap parking stall sign in parking lot could be more visible.
