Discovery Flights

The Discovery Flight is something most pilots never forget, and you don’t need a medical for this flight! This is the first time you have the opportunity to sit in the pilot’s seat and actually fly the aircraft. It’s that simple!

You will arrive at our school where you will be introduced to one of our highly qualified Flight Instructors. He or she will give you a pre-flight briefing on what you can expect on your first “at the controls” flight. Then you will walk out to the flight-line where your instructor will demonstrate the steps required to safely go flying. Throughout the flight, you will have many opportunities to actually fly the aircraft with your instructor guiding you.

Discovery Flights are a great way to determine if learning to fly is right for you. They also make excellent gift ideas for that individual who always talks about airplanes! The whole experience takes approximately one hour and can be booked at any time by calling our dispatch office at 306-244-6714!

**ALL Discovery and Scenic Flights must be prepaid at time of booking**

  • 1st time Cancellations: Customers will receive 1 verbal if phoning in to cancel a Disco within 24 hours prior to the flight. If cancellation is outside the 24 hour window, a $50.00 fee is charged.
  • A 2nd cancellation will incur a $50.00 fee.
  • ALL No shows will incur a full charge fee for that flight.
