The Four Owners
A Unique Team
In the fall of 2013, Mitchinson Flight Centre was purchased by a group of friends who are all proudly Mitchinson Alumni. Having trained at MFC, the four of us have grown in our careers alongside each other. Since our initial training, we have maintained a close relationship with MFC and we are honoured to accept the responsibility of owning this remarkable flight school.
We are all major airline pilots with over 82,500 hours combined, and are passionate about contributing to the aviation community in Canada and beyond. We have a comprehensive understanding of the industry enabling us to offer leading edge training and guidance for our instructor pilots, our student pilots, and our renting pilots. We are keen to actively support the success of our student pilots, both professional and recreational.
We look forward to meeting you and discussing your plan to become a pilot!
Our Commitment
Offer Flight Training Excellence where Safety comes First
As a unique team with vast operational flying experience, we offer what few other flying schools can:
- Career Mentorship and Guidance for our Flight Instructors
We put high value on our instructors having an above and beyond, operational perspective. Professional development seminars are offered to our pilots so the training they deliver is superior in quality and structured to highest standards. - Career Mentorship and Guidance for our Students
There are many choices to make as a new professional pilot and we fully understand this. We take pride in guiding our graduates in the right direction, coupling the students’ aspirations with the many job opportunities. We understand what it takes to make it in this rewarding business and we commit to prioritizing job placement for all our graduating students. - Offer the Best Value in Flight Training
We understand that not everyone desires to be a commercial pilot. If your aspiration is to get a pilot license to casually rent an aircraft or fly your own aircraft, the benefits are the same. Our professional instructors are always eager to go above and beyond for every student.
